Before the saddle, before the rein — there is the ground. We use join-up to establish trust from the very first moment, inviting the horse to choose connection rather than demanding it. By listening to the horse on the ground — honoring what they offer and what they withhold — we build a relationship strong enough to carry everything that comes after.
Sessions begin in stillness. Rider and horse stand together, breathing. No agenda. No timeline. Just presence.
Sympathetic Riding
Our method rejects force and demands of obedience. Instead, we cultivate a riding style built on sympathetic communication — where the rider's body becomes an extension of intention, and the horse responds not because it must, but because it understands.
We focus on seat, breath, and energy. We use the French classical dressage method to teach riding in each discipline.
The Long Partnership
Twining is not a six-week program. It is a philosophy of lifelong partnership. We guide riders and horses through every season of their relationship — from the uncertain first meeting to the effortless unity that comes with years of mutual respect.
Our riders return not because they have to, but because the journey of connection never truly ends.
